Blast - Jason "Blast" Chasko joined the band just prior to the release of Slob. Jason is from Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Chicago with his previous band Swoo. Jason originally provided sounds, samples and beats for the Lupins, but he was an accomplished and very powerful guitarist. Jason played guitar and sang background vocals on Queenie 8 and Monsignor Venus. Jason played with Beitr in a breif band called the Darlings. He moved to New York and worked with Liz Phair on her record White Chocolate Space Egg with Producer Scott Litt (REM). Jason formed Suffrajett with New York singer Simi and they released their self-titled debut on the indie label "In Music We Trust". They have now released an EP on Giant Steps records and have toured extensively. The band has relocated to Chicago recently.
